New Sensory/Wildlife Garden

We have recently moved our resident goats Holly and Pecan closer to the main building at St Luke’s, so those with mobility issues still have the opportunity to interact with them.

As you can see we have been left with a large open space where Holly and Pecan used to live, and we have been discussing ways of making the most of this area.

Our tenants have told us that they would like a sensory/wildlife garden. They have said that it would be nice to have a pathway with plenty of flowers so that they could see the butterflies and other wildlife that will be attracted to it. They would also like a bench or seating area of some sort, as it would be nice to have somewhere quiet and relaxing for them to sit.

We feel this would be very beneficial to all, and is an excellent use of this space.  Staff will be working will all tenants to combine the many aspects that they have decided upon.

We will be keeping our website updated with information and images of our progress
